Introduction
FireVegas is a promising addition to the Ontario online casino scene. Launched in 2022, FireVegas comes fully loaded with more than 2,400 different games including slots and table games, as well as a number of live dealers. Their mobile presence still is in early stages, but the desktop experience is guaranteed to provide lots of entertainment.

Facts You Should Know About FireVegas Casino
FireVegas has something for everyone (over the legal age of 19, of course.) The wide variety of perks, from drops and wins to online game shows, adds up to hours of online fun. Here are a few things that make FireVegas stand out from other ON casinos:
An exclusive, invite-only Fire VIP program
Games from more than 70 developers
Multi-language chat support available 24 hours a day
A helpful “Myths and Misconceptions about gambling” page
- 24/7 multi-language support.
- FireVIP and Fire Points.
- Extensive game selection.
- Slow mobile app performance.
- Lengthy withdrawal processing time.
- High wagering requirements (40x).
How Does This Casino Stand Out From Competitors?
FireVegas is part of a pretty crowded online casino market in Ontario. However, I took a closer look at a few other popular sites and noticed a few differences.
FireVegas has very high wagering requirements at 40x the cash amount. With both Casumo and Lucky offering a 30x wagering requirement, I think many players would be inclined to visit a site that offers better value than FireVegas.
In terms of game offerings, however, FireVegas is ahead of both Casumo and Lucky Days. You’ll find more variety on FireVegas than you would on other sites with a full slate of slots, table games and live dealers. FireVegas’ 2,400 games is comfortably ahead of Casumo at 1,000+, and Lucky Days, which has 1,800+.
My Experience with FireVegas Casino
Overall, it was easy to navigate FireVegas’ desktop site. (For my thoughts on the app version, keep reading below.) Although the design was simplistic, the site was simple to use and had everything I expect from a casino site. Games are divided by type as well as by developer, with the ability to search for specific games via a search bar. Account information is clearly displayed at the top of the page, and the live chat icon is visible in the lower-left corner.

Step by Step Guide to Getting Started
Creating an account is a bit lengthy, with the process divided into three separate pages and an account verification. I appreciate FireVegas’ thoroughness, but the three pages could be combined into one to reduce the feeling of endless steps, in my opinion.
Page one asks for basic identification, including:
First and last name
An optional alias name
Gender
Birthdate
Country and “state” (That’s what it said. Notice to FireVegas: in Ontario, we call them “provinces”).
Page two asks for more detailed information, including:
Email address
Phone number
Address
Employment status
Occupation
They also provide space to include your employer’s contact information, but it’s not essential so… no thank you!
Page three asks you to choose:
Username
Password
If you’d like to set limits for deposits and daily losses.
Once this was all complete, I got my account verified in just a few minutes and was then redirected to the payment information page to set up my first deposit.
Mobile vs Desktop Experience
For me, FireVegas is definitely more enjoyable on the desktop version than on the mobile app. Although I don’t have portability and convenience when I’m on my desktop computer, the playing experience is much smoother. Games were slow to load on my phone, and some demo versions wouldn’t open at all.
I would love to see performance improvements on the FireVegas app, particularly when it comes to loading speed. The mobile version is currently only available to iPhone users and boasts a 3.0 user rating out of 5 on the app store. Hopefully an Android version will be available in the near future, as well.
Casino reviews - Unique Features and Facts
With so many available options for online casinos in Ontario, is FireVegas doing anything unique to stand out from the rest? I found two features that really enhance the playing experience and make FireVegas feel unique in a crowded market - Fire Points and FireVIP.
While Fire Points are available to everyone, another program - FireVIP - is an exclusive invite-only service to reward loyal players. It works like a personal concierge for the site with perks including private tournaments and a personal account manager. There are three levels to the FireVIP program, Silver, Gold and Platinum, with the perks increasing with each level. FireVegas reviews customer accounts every 30-60 days to invite members into the program, but if you think you’re VIP material you can also contact customer service and ask to join the program.
I think both FireVIP and Fire Points are a step in the right direction for boosting the overall experience of playing with FireVegas. I will say, however, that FireVegas could do a better job of promoting its features. I only found out about Fire Points by clicking a small button inside the My Account page.
Games on FireVegas Casino
Game Quality and Variety:
Once I had my account set up and had spent some time exploring the site, it was time to play. The choices seem endless on FireVegas with thousands of different options for slots, table games, and live dealers. Whether you’re a casual player looking for fun and entertainment or a high-roller placing big table bets, FireVegas has something for every type of player.
Game Variety and Layout
Navigating FireVegas’ thousands of games is easy to do on both mobile and desktop. Games are divided into sections for slots, table games and live dealers, with subcategories that divide them further into game type. Their most popular games, which currently include titles like Big Bass Splash and Immortal Romance II, are highlighted at the top of the screen.
There’s also a menu that lists games by provider, so if you’re a fan of a particular developer, you can search for them by name. FireVegas lists 72 game developers, including familiar names like Pragmatic Play, Play’n Go and Microgaming.
Of course, with so many developers, there’s bound to be quite a range in terms of graphics and quality. However, I was impressed with every game I clicked on, especially when it comes to game themes. FireVegas has everything from fun cartoon slots to games with a mysterious thriller vibe, and the live games make you feel just like you’re getting the full Las Vegas experience.
Let’s take a closer look at the types of games that FireVegas offers.
Slot Machine Selection
I’m a sucker for slots, and FireVegas did not disappoint. There are hundreds of games, which makes FireVegas a strong competitor against other slot-heavy sites like Casumo. They range in size from 3x3 to 7x7, and also range widely in terms of minimum bets and wins.
I played Journey to Paris (ooh la la!) with a low-stakes minimum bid of $0.20. Then, I tried a game based on the 80s movie The Goonies at $1 a spin. Imaginative characters and themes always make playing more fun, so I really appreciate the range that FireVegas offers.
Slots are subdivided with a drop-down menu that includes categories like Drops and Wins, Megaways, and Sticky Wilds. There’s also a category under slots called “Scratch and Fun” which seems to be where they put games that don’t fit anywhere else. This includes things like plinko and video bingo. I wish they were given their own main category on the home page so they could be found more easily.
Table Games
They must really like roulette and blackjack at FireVegas, as they dominate the selection of table games. I counted 9 roulette games and 17 blackjack tables. I like choice as much as the next person, but is one blackjack table all that different from the other 16? I didn’t think so.
Interestingly, there was one poker and one baccarat option shown under the table games menu, but I could not get either of them to load. The games listed on the main page also did not appear to match what was listed in the sub-pages. Table games definitely felt like the most “under construction” part of the site. I would love to see a wider variety of games including poker, craps and baccarat.
Live Dealers
The live dealer tables offer more variety than the static table games. There are 16 live lobbies that feature blackjack, baccarat, roulette, bingo, game shows, Sic Bo, and Dragon Tiger. Again, poker is conspicuously absent here.
I spent some time in the One Blackjack room which started with a $1 minimum bet. The host had a great personality and interacted with players by responding to the player chat window located in the upper-right corner.
I was unfamiliar with Dragon Tiger, a game by Pragmatic Play, so I had to check it out next. Apparently it couldn’t be more simple - the dealer draws two cards, one of which is the dragon and one is the tiger. You can bet on the dragon, the tiger, or both. It’s also a low-stakes option starting at just $0.10 a bid.
I will note that some of the live shows were a bit glitchy for me - I had to refresh a couple before the games actually loaded. Hopefully, I just caught them on a bad day and this isn’t an ongoing problem.
Payment Methods
FireVegas currently offers four different ways to deposit and withdraw money to your FireVegas account:
Interac: Transfer your money directly from a Canadian bank account. This option requires setting up FireVegas as an e-transfer recipient at your bank, so there’s a bit of initial set-up.
Credit Cards: FireVegas accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards. In this humble writer’s opinion, credit cards are still the fastest and easiest way to make online transactions.
Paysafecard: Paysafecard works as a prepaid cash voucher that you load up on their app. Note that Ontario restricts prepaid card limits to $250 a week.
MiFinity: This is a secure e-wallet system and a good option if you don’t want to hand over personal bank information. It requires downloading the MiFinity app and creating an account.
While this is a good mix of options, I’d like to see FireVegas add a few more ways to pay, including PayPal, Apple Wallet and other types of credit cards.
The minimum deposit to play games on FireVegas is $20, and this is also the minimum amount for withdrawal. FireVegas doesn’t take any additional fees when processing deposits/withdrawals, though it’s worth checking your individual banking methods (i.e. Interac) to see if they do.
Personal Experience
Even with the fancy e-options available, I like to stick to my tried-and-true Mastercard to make online purchases. I deposited $20 (the minimum amount) and filled out the usual credit card information - name, card number, expiry date, and CVV number.
I love that deposits are processed so quickly, so I could begin playing right away.
While depositing money was a smooth experience on FireVegas, withdrawals are a bit more complicated. According to the FireVegas site, requested withdrawals will remain as “pending” for 48 hours and payment processing can take three to five days. They also reserve the right to require verification documents before releasing withdrawals, such as a driver’s license or passport. Finally, withdrawals can only be made to the same banking method from which they were deposited.
I’ve been waiting for about 36 hours to receive my withdrawal of $20, so I can’t personally comment on how long it will take but I hope to see my money soon. A number of reviews on the iPhone app gave FireVegas a low rating for withholding payouts, but honestly it sounded like one disgruntled person posting several times. Regardless, it’s something to be aware of.
FireVegas Casino Walkthrough
The first thing you’ll see when you visit FireVegas are the perks displayed across the homepage. I know they’re just trying to get me to sign up, but it did make me feel welcome!
The Action Center marked in purple text on the top banner is a useful place to start. This is where you’ll find any new notifications or benefits, as well as your outstanding balance. I also recommend spending some time in the My Account section. It offers up-to-date details on pending and approved withdrawals, loyalty points, and deposits.
The main games page is simply designed with thumbnail links divided into various game categories. The white background feels a bit basic, and I definitely think FireVegas could design a flashier site to simulate that exciting Vegas vibe. However, the simplistic design doesn’t hinder navigation or gameplay.
If you have any questions while visiting FireVegas, a live chat icon appears in the bottom-left corner of every page. There unfortunately doesn’t appear to be a dedicated FAQ section, at least not one that’s easy to find. If you scroll all the way down and click on Contact Us/Support, you’ll find a very basic FAQ. I’d like to see this improved in the future because not every simple question requires a live chat.
I Tested FireVegas Casino on My Phone: Room for Improvement
I wanted to love playing FireVegas on my phone, I really did. Unfortunately, for a smooth gameplay experience, I have to go with the desktop over the mobile app.
Downloading the app to my iPhone 14 was easy enough. It’s free to install and very quick. I had already set up my account on the desktop version so I just logged in with my username and password, and was ready to go.
Most of the functions available in the top bar of the desktop game are condensed and located at the bottom of the mobile version. For example, rather than having separate sections for the Action Center, My Account and Cash Balances, there’s just a little icon of a person that links to all player information.
Overall I liked the design of the mobile site better. The white space that bothered me on the desktop version is less obvious on the app - the layout maximizes space and design very well on a small screen. But although design went up, functionality went down.
I found the playing experience very glitchy on my phone. Games were either slow to load or didn’t load at all. FireVegas lets you “Play for real” ($$) or “Play for fun” (demo version) and I couldn’t get any of the demos to open on my phone. My experience playing and reviewing games on FireVegas is therefore mostly based on the desktop site, because I’m writing this on deadline!
Both my phone (iPhone 14) and my version of the FireVegas app were up to date, so I can only attribute my problems with the mobile version to be the growing pains of a new company. I hope to see FireVegas improve in this area in the near future, because mobile game play is a huge component in the casino space. As of this writing, they don’t appear to be available on the Google Play store for Android users - hopefully this will be added soon, as well.
Why Did I Give FireVegas Casino a Top Rating?
In order to give you fair and accurate reviews of online casinos, it only makes sense that our writers experience the site the same way an actual customer would. That means creating an account and playing with real money. We explore every aspect of the site from customer support to the quality of the graphics. Playing casino games all day is a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it!
Here’s what we look at when writing a casino review:
Safety and Security: We check that all sites are licensed and regulated by the Ontario Gaming Commission. Ensuring the safety of players is top priority, which includes secure banking transactions and identity verification. We also give extra points to sites that include responsible gaming information like deposit limits and Fit to Play checks at log-in.
Customer Support: We look for customer support that is fast, helpful and knowledgeable. In the online space, that means 24/7 support and a range of contact options including live chat, email and phone. A variety of language and accessibility options are important too.
Game Selection: We take a look at everything from the number of games, the quality of the graphic design, and which game developers each casino works with. With thousands of games on the market, we’re always keeping an eye out for a game experience that stands out from the rest.
Payouts: We go through the entire payment process from start to finish. This includes making deposits and withdrawals, and checking the minimum amounts, hidden fees, and processing times.
Overall Impression: We want sites to provide an overall positive experience to the player. If the negatives outweigh the positives, we’ll say so. There are so many online casinos competing for your time, and we believe that your time is valuable!
Licensing and Regulation at FireVegas Casino
FireVegas is owned and operated by the Malta-based company White Hat Gaming, or TWHG. TWHG is licensed with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and a regulated operator with iGaming Ontario. FireVegas boasts a number of badges at the bottom of their website such as the CasinoTop Seal of Approval and BonusFinder Verification.
The website is secure with full SSL encryption, which means players’ personal information is protected. This always makes me feel more comfortable when spending money and is a good way to ensure repeat business from me. The fact that TWHG also operates several other casino brands in Canada, including Casigo and Casimba, also gives me confidence that as a business they’re not going anywhere.
Their Responsible Gaming page is very long, but indicates that FireVegas is a site that takes its responsibility to its players seriously. They also provide the link to ConnexOntario, an organization that treats mental health, addiction and problem gambling.
Did I Have Any Problems When Using FireVegas Casino
I did experience a few hiccups while using FireVegas, but nothing that would turn me off the site completely. They’re still relatively new in the online casino space and with any luck they’ll continue to develop better features as they grow.
As I’ve already mentioned, I’d love to be able to play with FireVegas on my iPhone. The convenience of being able to access an app while on-the-go simply can’t be matched on a desktop computer. I’m sure that Android users would like to have access to it, as well.
I find the wagering requirement for perks extremely high at 40x. In this aspect, FireVegas simply doesn’t compete with a site like Casumo, which offers a 30x wagering requirement. With such a high requirement, more transparency would also be appreciated, by prominently displaying these terms so there are no unpleasant surprises.
I’d also like to see the FAQ page built out to include more information on different aspects of gameplay. A lot of simple information requires time spent digging through the website or using the live chat, and a FAQ could save players a lot of time.
Do I Recommend using FireVegas Casino
FireVegas does everything I expect of a casino site - it provides basic functionality, variety and design. If you’re looking for an afternoon of entertainment, you can easily spend a few hours playing some very enjoyable games.
Right now, I would recommend FireVegas for anyone looking for a truly huge selection of games, and for higher volume players who can handle the 40x wagering requirements. More casual players might have trouble with this.
In a competitive space FireVegas will need to keep expanding to stand out from more established sites. Providing more frequent benefits and adding some flash to the site would be a great place to start.
To sum up, if you’re looking for a site with fast withdrawal payouts and low wagering requirements, there are better options available. However, if game variety is your priority, FireVegas can easily compete with the big boys.
