Lucky Days Review

Lucky Days is one of the newer online casinos to enter the Canadian market, but they’ve built a larger-than-life reputation for their brand since launching throughout Ontario in June 2022. They rose to mainstream success with almost 1,900 games.

I tested every aspect of the Lucky Days user experience, played real money games and claimed perks so I could show you how they work. In this Lucky Days review, I’m taking readers on a virtual tour of this new online casino. 

I’m explaining the pros and cons of signing up here, outlining important processes step-by-step, and giving you an inside look at Lucky Days with no commitment required. I created an account with the casino so I could see what’s really happening behind the scenes and report back here.

Lucky Days has one of the more comprehensive gaming libraries I’ve come across, and their benefits fall in line with the standards set by competing platforms like Casumo. I have also been using Royal Panda and Leo Vegas, so I wanted to see how they all compare. 

Royal Panda has the least impressive collection of the bunch with 1,000+ slots and 8 jackpots, but they have 221 live tables. Leo Vegas tops the pack with 1,775+ slots and 340 live games. I think Lucky Days’ collection of 1,688+ slots is competitive, but they only have 36 live games as compared to hundreds at other sites. Regardless, Lucky Days has enough variety in store for casual players. 

Leo Vegas is the only casino of the three with their own app on Google Play and the App Store. If you get started with Royal Panda or Lucky Days, you have to play via their respective mobile websites. Thankfully, Royal Panda and Lucky Days’ casino sites are designed for smartphones.

I had an enjoyable user experience at Lucky Days. On both desktop and mobile, their interface is easy for beginners to get the hang of. After I logged in, I was redirected to their game page. I was able to sort between slots, live casino games, jackpots, tables and new releases at the top. 

They also have a search bar up top if you want to look for titles by name or software company. Lucky Days doesn’t add much to their interface beyond games, but I got curious and clicked on the “Help” tab. I saw a “Contact Us” tab, and all their FAQs were sorted by category underneath. 

While it would be nice to see Lucky Days add more search features, their website delivers quick loading speeds and lag-free games on desktop and mobile.

This isn’t my first rodeo, but Lucky Days has one of the easiest registration processes I’ve done so far. I was able to make my new account within 2 minutes, and I’m explaining how I did it here. 

I clicked the “Create Account” button up top and I was redirected to a sign-up form that asked me for the following pieces of personal information: 

• Email Address

• Password

• Date of Birth 

• Mobile Number 

• Home Address

• Occupational Details

Before I could start making deposits and playing games at Lucky Days, one of their agents had to verify my employment information and home address, which is standard at every Ontario casino I’ve reviewed thus far. 

I was asked to confirm that I was at least 19 years old by ticking one of the checkboxes on their registration form. I was asked to agree with Lucky Days’ Terms & Conditions by ticking the other checkbox. Once I’d taken all the steps listed above, I clicked “Register” to create a new account.

Lucky Days doesn’t have a downloadable casino app for iOS or Android devices, so I used my iPhone 13 to access their mobile website via Safari. Their website appears to mimic the layout and functionality of a real app, so I can’t gripe much about not being able to download software. 

I can complain about not being able to use Apple Pay or Google Pay with their mobile website. I was able to add the Lucky Days webpage icon to my home screen by clicking the square tab at the center-bottom of the screen and tapping “Add to Home Screen” from the menu that pops up. 

I was able to play slots, live games and jackpots with a single tap on the home screen. Loading speeds were quick, and navigating through the mobile user interface felt snappy on my iPhone.

We try to endorse casinos that stand a cut above the rest with original games and unique features. Lucky Days might be the new kid on the block, but the appeal is already there for thousands of players in Ontario. 

Lucky Days accepts more e-wallets than many Ontario casinos. I was able to use MuchBetter, ecoPayz and PaySafeCard to make deposits during my week-long testing period. 

On the bright side, they host lots of brand-new slots from lesser-known providers. They might not be perfect, but they are very different from the average casino. Speaking of differentiating features, Lucky Days does right by their players with 24/7/365 chat, email, and FAQ support.

I’m listing all the payment methods available at Lucky Days, discussing how each of them work, and explaining to my readers exactly how I was able to make deposits and receive withdrawals. 

• VISA/MasterCard: Open the cashier, click the corresponding payment option, and enter your VISA or MasterCard details when prompted. Then, tap “Submit” to make an instant deposit. If you’re using a bank card to deposit, winnings are sent back to the same card.

• Interac: Interac is a Canadian payment service that can be used for deposits and withdrawals at Lucky Days. On the payment screen, select your bank and log into your account. Type in the amount of cash you’d like to send or receive. Tap “Submit” to finalize the transaction. 

• iDebit: iDebit pairs with your bank account much like Interac, offering the ability to make immediate deposits and receive fee-free payouts with an extra layer of security added to your experience. Log into your bank and send or receive money directly to your account. 

• MuchBetter: MuchBetter is an e-wallet that requires you to make a new login, manually transfer funds to your casino account from your bank account (and vice versa), and pay a fee if you decide to withdraw your winnings from the ATM. It acts like a middle man, providing extra security if you don’t want to make payments directly from your bank account. 

• ecoPayz: ecoPayz is another e-wallet that helps players keep their financial information and casino expenditures separate. You’ll need to create a secondary account, manually add money to your ecoPayz balance, and send money to your casino balance that way. 

• PaySafeCard: PaySafeCard is a prepaid card that you can use for everyday purchases, deposits, and withdrawals at Lucky Days. You have to add money to your PaySafeCard manually, and it takes the place of your VISA or MasterCard when making transactions. 

Bank Transfer: Bank transfers are best suited for players who are spending or receiving large amounts of money. Payouts via bank transfer can take up to 7 days, but it’s one of the most secure payment options available. Just enter your routing and account number.

During my week-long testing period, I made real money deposits and cashed out my winnings at Lucky Days. I’m discussing every step I took along the way, but they’re all fairly self-explanatory. I used my VISA card to deposit $20 and get the first part of their perks on my desktop. 

I opened the menu from the sidebar, navigated to the cashier’s section, and clicked “Deposit.” I then selected “Bank Cards” from the payment screen. I entered my name, billing address, card number and security code. I ticked a box to confirm that I was the owner of the card. I finalized my initial transaction by clicking “Deposit,” and I received both my deposit and perks instantly. 

I received my winnings just 24 hours later. While this timeframe isn’t the quickest I’ve seen, it’s still competitive based on my personal experience withdrawing cash at various Ontario casinos.

I spent more than twelve hours playing games, claiming benefits, and exploring Lucky Days’ user interface over the course of a week. I’ve made this clear walkthrough to assure new players that it’s not difficult to use their platform. In fact, it’s one of the simplest sites I’ve tested. 

There are three tabs at the very top of the screen. I was able to access their homepage, all the games offered by the casino, and their Help Centre. Clicking the “Help” tab brought me to their FAQ section, which offers simple answers to questions about verification, payments, safety, security, and their list of responsible gaming tools. Above this, I saw a “Contact Us” tab. 

I saw links to their Live Chat feature and email hotline, so I decided to perform an experiment to see how quickly someone would respond. I entered my name, email, and inquiry before clicking “Start Chat.” I received a warm introduction from a support agent named Sean 30 seconds later. 

On the website’s footer, they list their licensing information and have a drop-down menu that lets you switch between English and French. To the right of their licensing details, I saw two columns with links to their T&C’s, Help Center, Privacy & Cookie Policy, and Responsible Gaming Policy. 

I always check for the presence of safe gambling tools before endorsing a casino, and I’m glad to say that Lucky Days meets the mark here. They allow players to set loss limits, deposit limits and session limits by launching the “Responsible Gaming” page and clicking on “Player Limits.” 

You can also “Take A Break” from gaming at Lucky Days for a period of 24 hours, seven days, a month, two months, or three months. If you want to step away for a longer period of time, you’re able to place a self-exclusion on your casino account for up to six months, a year, or five years.

I used Lucky Days’ mobile website on my iPhone to play slots, table games and live games. The desktop and smartphone-friendly versions of their casino website aren’t designed any differently. However, their menu icons switch places from the top to the bottom of your smartphone screen. 

A video game controller icon replaces the “Games” button on their desktop website. I was able to pull up the search bar after clicking the magnifying glass icon right next to it, and clicking the menu icon at the bottom-right corner of my screen gave me immediate access to their live chat.

I didn’t experience any lag while poking around the website, and I didn’t find any discrepancies between their collection on desktop and mobile. They don’t have an app, but their site delivers where it counts most with crisp animations, appropriately sized titles and crystal-clear graphics.

I gave Lucky Days a top rating because they host hundreds of brand-new games and surpass most Ontario casinos with their perks. I got all the information I used in this article directly from my own experiences, so you can rest assured that you’re seeing the most accurate details.

In this section, I’m addressing some of the problems I experienced when using Lucky Days. The website lacks advanced search functionality on desktop and mobile. They don’t have a real app, either. I was able to sort games by category, but I couldn’t pinpoint specific themes or spot a list of their software providers. This problem remains constant for their slots, tables and live games. 

They could afford to add more live games and a phone support hotline, but the bigger issue lies with their lack of recurring perks and tournaments. Lucky Days is one of the only casinos I reviewed that doesn’t offer events or daily benefits. Right now, they only host their sign-up offer.

Yes, I’d recommend giving Lucky Days a try for yourself. They offer nearly 1,900+ slots, jackpots and live games from 30 software providers, ensuring that you never run out of titles to explore. 

While they don’t have a casino app available for download, I had a positive gaming experience on desktop and mobile. 

Their games and perks are admittedly geared towards high rollers, but casual players and beginners can explore upwards of 1,500 classic games. Their progressives hit seven-figure territory, and their VIP rooms give big spenders a reason to keep coming back for more action.
